Greg has served as the Director since April 2010.  Prior to joining the City of Waynesboro, he was the Business Development Manager for the Onondaga County (Syracuse New York) Office of Economic Development.  He also served as the Interim Director of the six person office and the CFO for the Onondaga County Industrial Development Authority.  Following graduation from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Greg spent 18 years in consumer goods and services sales and marketing.  He serves on several boards and committees: International Economic Development Council (IEDC), Marketing Committee; Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC), Education Committee; Virginia Economic Development Association (VEDA), Director, Vice-Chairman Program Committee; Shenandoah Valley Partnership (SVP), Executive Committee, Chairman Marketing Committee; Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC), Associate Advisory Committee; Waynesboro Downtown Development, Director; Center for Coldwater Restoration, Director; Wanzhou / Waynesboro Sister City, Secretary. Courtney became the Assistant Director in September 2015.  Prior to joining the City of Waynesboro, she was the Director of Business Development for the Staunton Creative Community Fund.  Courtney has a backgroud in real estate, renovations, the Virginia Main Street Program, hospitality, and the arts.  She serves on the hOUR Economy Steering Committee and the Staunton Food Policy Council and can be reached at 540-942-6644 or


Stephanie is the Administrative Assistant for Economic Development and Tourism.  She was born and raised in Waynesboro and after going to college out of state returned to the Valley.  She has been in the Economic Development Office since 2011.  She can be reached at 540-942-6570 or
