Waynesboro, VA – Waynesboro’s Office of Economic Development is reminding entrepreneurs and small business owners that interest forms for the Grow Waynesboro Rockfish Gateway business development program remain open through January 12.
Grow Waynesboro Rockfish Gateway is an initiative focused on supporting new and expanding businesses in Waynesboro with a focus on Waynesboro’s Rockfish Gateway corridor. This program is designed for entrepreneurs preparing to launch a business, refining an idea for a business, or expanding an existing business.
Participants will receive targeted support such as business coaching, mentorship, educational workshops, and connections to local resources during the free seven-week training. The program supports business creation by addressing common startup challenges, encouraging corridor reinvestment, and guiding entrepreneurs as they launch, expand, or relocate a business.
Entrepreneurs who are interested but have not yet submitted an interest form are encouraged to do so by Monday, January 12. A completed interest form helps Grow Waynesboro identify potential participants and tailor program support. A fully developed business plan is not required at this stage.
The Grow Waynesboro Rockfish Gateway program is made possible through the support of Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development’s Community Business Launch (CBL), Shenandoah Community Capital Fund, First Bank & Trust, and Atlantic Union Bank.
Interest forms are now open. You can learn more and apply at waynesborobusiness.com/grow-waynesboro/rockfish-gateway
