I have opened my business but need some help to grow…
The SBDC Navigator Program is designed for growth-oriented existing businesses that just need a little help. We have partnered with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to offer valuable services to small business owners within the City at no cost to you. Business owners will be paired up with a Navigator from SBDC to go through an assessment process and develop an Action Plan based on the business’s needs for growth. After the initial assessment SBDC will connect you with a local expert to complete the plan.
This program is funded by a DHCD grant and is available at no charge, is limited to the first 20 dedicated clients who want to see a difference in their business, and for projects completed by May 15, 2022. Connect with us today by completing this short application.

The Business Scale UP program uses economic gardening practices developed by Chris Gibbons over the last 30 years and implemented by the National Center for Economic Gardening. It is designed for later stage companies that sell to external markets, with base size and revenue requirements. CEO’s of companies work with National Center staff to gain strategic research and frameworks to help them scale up, add jobs and wealth to the community. This is a fee-based program with scholarships up to 75% available due to grant funding by GO Virginia and the Waynesboro Economic Development Authority. For more information contact Greg Hitchin.
